Father Specht

Fr. Terry Specht attended St. Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa., the University of the State of New York, and the University of Hawaii. Following retirement from the U.S. Navy he attended Mount St. Mary Seminary in Emmitsburg, Md. His first assignment as a priest was at St. Mary of Sorrows parish in Fairfax Station, Va. He was chaplain and assistant principal at Paul VI Catholic High School. After leaving Paul VI he became the Director of the Office of Child and Youth Protection for the Diocese of Arlington and Bishop’s Delegate for Special Projects. He continues these duties with the diocese. He was assigned as pastor to Holy Spirit in January of 2007. Fr. Specht is a member of the diocesan Review and Advisory Boards as well as the College of Consultors.
