When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?
They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
"But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?"
Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
Every human person must come to answer the simple question asked of Simon Peter on that day on the heights of the Golan. It is, in fact, the answer to this question that will lead each person to his or her eternal destiny.
To bring children to know Christ and to know the gift of his Church is the role of each family. To assist families in this most important mission Holy Spirit offers a continuing course for all children from first grade through high school.
It is the purpose of the Religious Education at Holy Spirit to invite young persons to come ever more deeply to knowledge of the Lord Jesus, through Sacred Scripture, the Church’s liturgy and service to the poor and the needy.
