Youth Ministry

The inspiration for our youth ministry comes from St. Catherine of Siena: “If you are what you should be, you will set the world ablaze.”  The purpose of this ministry is bring the teens deeper in their relationships with Christ and equip them to live and share the gospel message. Junior High Youth Ministry is open to all 6th-8th graders and High School Youth Ministry is open to all 9th-12th graders.
 

Junior High Meetings:

Rosary Making: The second Tuesday of the month from 5-6:30p.m. in the Youth Room. Learn how to make rosaries to give to your friends and family, to keep for yourself and how to make ones to send off to the troops overseas!

Thursday Hang Out: Every other Thursday in the Youth Room from 3:30-5 (e-mail us for a complete schedule). We have a Wii, tons of movies, good snacks and even places to get your homework done!

Monthly Outings: Bowling, Corn Mazes, the movies-- these are just a few of the fun outings Junior High does on a monthly basis!

High School Meetings:

General weekly meetings: The 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of each month from 7:30-9p.m. in the school gym or Youth Room.

Bible at the Bou': Every Monday evening we meet from 7:30-8:30p.m. at the Caribou Coffee in the Kings Park shopping center across the street for a Bible study. You can join anytime! The first drink is on us!

Mid-week hangouts: Every Wednesday, something is going on in the youth Room!

1st Wednesday: Film Night 7-9p.m. Take a break in the middle of the week for some popcorn and always a great film!

2nd Wednesday: Game Night 7-9p.m. Apples to Apples, Charades, Cranium etc. This night is always a lot of fun!

3rd Wednesday: Glory and Praise 7-9p.m. A evening of prayer and music, followed by some hangout time.

4th Wednesday: Loving the Lonely 6:15-8:15p.m. The High School Youth Ministry serves a local nursing home by visiting the residents and building relationships with them. The residents are always overjoyed to see the teens.
