Seasons of Hope - A Minstry for the bereaved
Seasons of Hope is a faith sharing ministry offered to those who have lost loved ones and find themselves moving beyond grief with difficulty. The program offers six weekly sessions. The program is centered on Jesus Christ and grounded in the healing wisdom, traditions, and practices of the Catholic Church.
Our Lord Jesus assured us that those who mourn are blessed, and that they shall be comforted. Seasons of Hope offers the bereaved an opportunity to come together to share in God's love. With the support of the community of faith, we can give voice to our unique journeys of grief and find healing and spiritual growth. Seasons of Hope help us to explore mourning through scripture, prayer, reflection and sharing.
Each year, many families face loss of loved ones who are members of the parish. Our Catholic tradition providesd funeral support and now Seasons of Hope brings that consolation into the difficult period that follows when grief can overwhelm.
Anyone who mourns the loss of a loved one is invited to attend. Group size is limited so please call to reserve a place.
